The PTA (Parent Teacher Association) is the oldest and largest volunteer association working exclusively on behalf of all children and youth. For more than 100 years, the National PTA has promoted education, health and safety for children and their families.
The Mountain View Elementary School PTA is committed to enhancing the learning environment of our students. This goal is achieved by volunteering our time to school projects and events, hosting school spirit functions, raising funds for student support and other important programs and last but certainly not least fostering communication between parents, staff and the school district.
Mountain View PTA is proud to bring yearly programs like our Harvest Carnival, Red Ribbon Week, Book Fair, Variety Show, Kids R Neat Week, Field Day, Jr. Olympics, Field Trip Fund, Yearbook and much more. This is all done for the benefit of the students here at Mountain View. School improvement and support are a continued focus with our PTA by funding resources from playground equipment to art and music programs.
We encourage EVERYONE to join Mountain View PTA. Becoming a PTA member opens up leadership opportunities and builds skills in communication, advocacy strategies, while showing your support not just for your school, but your child and all the children of Mountain View. Learn more about becoming a member. Members who are willing to get involved are a valuable resource for starting and maintaining programs and projects to benefit children, youth, and the community.
